First time visiting this bakery , and it is now my favorite. I tried all bakeries in the Dearborn and Dearborn Heights area , and there were some good ones but Chase Bakery is now my favorite . They have the best spinach pies I had in a long time . Owners are very nice and welcoming . Mohammed is great ! I HIGHLY recommend !!!!!
Amazing service and very kind staff. I would highly recommend the manaeesh! The best spot in Dearborn for sure. I really love this place. The quality of the bakes and breads are really high
This is a small Mom and Pop operation. I walked in at 5pm (signs say they close at 6:30) but they looked like they were getting ready to close up. But they seemed welcoming- which is good. Felt like a little language barrier, but we made it through. I ordered 2 Shawarmas- 1 chicken and 1 meat, a dozen pies. Small menu- pies, sandwiches. The owner was very sweet, gave me a free small spinach pie to munch on while I waited and then brought me a chair to sit on as well. He did tell me the credit card machine was down, but i had cash on me, so no problem. The chicken shawarma was good, very garlicky. The meat shawarma was also good, flavorful, but the chopped tomatoes and onion were so big, they made up a large part of the sandwich. Just nothing really special. The pies were delicious, I got a mix of the spinach, meat, and mini pizza. If I'm ever in the area, I may stop again for the pies. The prices were amazing. I just probably wont go out of my way go here, nothing was really crave-able.
I stopped by for a quick breakfast never noticing this place until I was stopped at a red light on Chase the other day. Walked in, owners daughter greeted me with a Salam which means "peace be upon you." Very kind! The owner also came out and did the same. He was very patient with my sister and I as we looked through the menu. We had a one year old with us and he gave my niece a veggie pie. She loved it! We placed our order for cheese and zaatar manaeesh. The best Manaeesh I have ever tasted! It's the perfect ratio of fluffy but thin. It was not oily at all which is something I hate about ordering bakery food. It was perfectly warm out the fire oven, it was amazing! I will definitely be back for all of my bakery needs as the hospitality I was given was beyond any bakery I have ever been to. Highly recommend coming here!
No place does Zaatar or specialty breads like this place! Everything is fresh! Even if you don't speak Arabic, they make you feel part of their community! My coworker introduced me and I'm eternally grateful! Repeat customer here.
